Job Summary:
Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Program Manager to support KITS and their government customer in Washington, DC. The Program Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of a major technical program, serving as the primary point of contact with Government program authorities and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of contract requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contract effort.
• Act as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives regarding technical and programmatic issues.
• Oversee all program/project operations, including developing procedures, planning activities, and directing the execution of technical, programming, maintenance, and administrative efforts.
• Monitor and report program/project progress, identifying risks and ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage acquisition and utilization of program resources to achieve project goals.
• Oversee financial and administrative aspects of the program to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to program/project staff.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Fifteen (15) years of experience managing technical programs or projects and supervising staff activities.
• At least three (3) years of Government contracting experience within the 15 years of relevant experience is required.
• Active project or program management certification such as: Project Management Professional (PMP), Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or Equivalent program/project management certification.
Preferred:
• Experience managing federal government programs.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and complex technical requirements.
