Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, plus 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Candidate must be local to area. Some telecommuting allowed.

The Project Support Specialist (PSS) department is unique with many nuances and avenues for success. There is a baseline expectation of every PSS (listed below), with a monthly drumbeat of reports and analysis, however, this role allows for growth and specialization based on current skills and future interests. This particular requisition is focused supporting our Tactical Programs in Fire Control. 

  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) beginner 
  • Control Account Manager (CAM) beginner
  • Forecasting financial and schedule data 
  • Facilitation skills (prepare packages, run reviews, present, notes, etc.)
  • Material Tracking/ODC knowledge
  • CDRL/ELIN submittal & incentive tracking 
  • Program kick off and baseline establishment support knowledge (CWBS, resource loading, etc.)
  • Agile Concepts (JIRA knowledge a bonus)
  • Risk Management Concepts and implementations

  • Demonstrate technical competence in the setup, monitoring and documentation of experiments and/or lab equipment
