Job description

Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Program Operations Manager to provide leadership oversight over critical business functions including finance, contracts, subcontracts, security, quality, communications, mission innovation, and resource management. The operations lead will collaborate with the Finance and Service Delivery teams to ensure financial forecasts are accurate and up to date. You will also ensure on time and accurate delivery of all financial reporting including invoices, variance reporting, and other weekly and monthly requirements. This role is central to customer satisfaction, program execution, and continuous improvement throughout the life of the contract.
Other Key Responsibilities of this role include:
  • Participating in customer-facing meetings, executive briefings, and strategic planning sessions;
  • Driving collaboration with customer counterparts as well as subcontractor teammates;
  • Tracking labor costs, productivity, and resource utilization to achieve desired outcomes, and identifying and implementing efficiency opportunities;
  • Tracking and reporting performance against Service Level Agreements;
  • Supporting contract compliance, auditing, and reporting requirements;
  • Championing operational reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph;
  • 12+ years of relevant leadership experience;
  • Experience providing direct support to the Intelligence Community, federal civilian organizations, and/or other state or local entities;
  • Demonstrated success leading and managing large-scale service contracts comprised of 100+ team members;
  • Proven ability to oversee diverse technical and business functions simultaneously, and ensuring all functions collaborate to complete contractual deliverables on time, every time;
  • Intrinsically motivated leader with strong interpersonal and executive communication skills with the ability to tailor information to meet diverse stakeholder needs;
  • Proven ability to navigate competing stakeholder needs with clarity;
  • Desire and willingness to act as a mentor, helping others to strengthen their technical and/or leadership acumen and grow within the organization;
  • Aptitude and willingness to support business operations as requested, including capture and proposal efforts

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, intelligence analysis, or related fields;
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project/program management certification;
  • Experience supporting federal, state, and/or local government organizations;
  • Experience with a variety of contract types including Fixed Price, Cost Plus, and Cost Reimbursable contracts;
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
