Stefanini is looking for an After Sales Launch Manager (ASLM), Auburn Hills, MI (Onsite)
The After Sales Launch Manager (ASLM) role is a key strategic component to the overall success of timely and accurate support of a new vehicle program. The ASLM is responsible for the upfront engagement with Vehicle Engineering teams on designated programs to identify program requirements and communicate applicable requirements. The ASLM is considered the lead for their program(s) and remains engaged with his/her assigned programs throughout their lifecycle coordinating related impact assessments and launch readiness reports. Although this role resides within Technical Service Operations (TSO), the ASLM's responsibilities span across TSO, Parts Supply Chain, Accessories, Purchasing, and Technical Training.
ResponsibilitiesSelf-starter with strong work ethicAble to identify what items need to be addressed autonomouslyUpfront engagement with Engineering as the liaison to communicate requirements/needs while documenting vehicle requirementsCross-functional coordination with various levels of management to complete impact analysis and launch/dealer readiness assessmentsManage, track, and report critical deliverables to support vehicle program launchesEscalate issues early and quickly for resolution and awarenessAdvance integration efforts with global counterparts with focus on new vehicle planning and readiness effortsPrepare and effectively deliver executive management presentations related to MPR responsibilitiesAssist with TSO / benchmarking activities
Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in supply chain, automotive, program management, engineering, or related fieldAbility to interact and network effectively with various personality typesManage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication skills--written and verbalEfficient with office tools, such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PowerBI, and QlikSenseAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment3+ years of engineering and/or aftersales experience in the automotive or related industry (5 is preferred but can be flexible for candidates with strong skills)Self-motivated, does not require constant direction, can prioritize and identify urgent needs
Preferred Qualifications5+ years' work experience on program launchesStrong technical aptitude and understanding of the dealership environmentStrong organizational, self-management, and negotiations skillsExperience in presenting ideas and concepts to all levels of managementAbility to speak English, Chinese and SpanishPrior program management experience in a technical capacityFluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and Spanish is a bonus.
