Job description

Apogee has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager in support of the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO) at Warner Robins AFB, GA. These positions provide acquisition program management support for GPS User Equipment systems including production, sustainment, and modernization activities. 

These are full-time positions located at Warner Robins Air Force Base (AFB). 


  • Provide acquisition program management support for GPS User Equipment programs
  • Assist in the development of acquisition planning documents, including J&As, SOWs, PWS, and D&Fs
  • Review and evaluate contract modifications and proposals
  • Maintain acquisition trackers, program schedules, and financial data
  • Track and review vendor CDRL deliverables
  • Support market research activities and source selection
  • Coordinate Integration Working Groups for platform and receiver integration
  • Develop and maintain cross-platform integration master schedules
  • Coordinate with DoD aircraft platforms to identify technical requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of briefings for program reviews and milestone decisions
  • Support contract administration and procurement activities
  • Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings and program reviews
  • Track program risks and support mitigation planning
  • Prepare meeting minutes and action item tracking
  • Support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) coordination
  • Assist in the development of cost estimates and budget submissions
  • Coordinate with logistics and sustainment organizations 

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen 
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance 
Education: Bachelor's Degree  in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
Years of Experience: 7 years of DoD acquisition experience

Additional experience:

  • Knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System and FAR/DFARS
  • Experience with GPS/GNSS systems or avionics programs preferred
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office Suite, and program management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Travel: Travel up to 15% may be required, per the customer's discretion
