Help
  • Provides integrated technical guidance and assistance to a wide range of acquisition programs and products/platforms which may also include cost, production/manufacturing, supply chain, quality, earned value, and industrial base issues.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and provides input to various policy and guidance issued from all levels; develops strategies and plans to achieve objectives and support customer-identified outcomes related to program/platform requirements.
  • Interacts with senior government leaders to resolve issues, reviews and analyzes data, and prepares and provides status reports and briefings.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Program Manager, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.
Creditable specialized experience includes:
  • Obtaining, analyzing, and disseminating commodity specific information, to include past, current, and future program performance data, integrated supply chain information risk and predictability, and other business or technical issues.
  • Ensuring that strategic plans, mission/vision, and values are defined and communicated and integrated into a team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, work products and services.
  • Providing integrated technical guidance and assistance to a wide range of major and non-major acquisition programs.

Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
