Brandt is the exclusive Canada wide dealer for Topcon and Sokkia Positioning. We provide industry leading technologies to the construction, building, surveying, engineering, governmental, and mining markets. The Territory Manager - Construction is responsible for prospecting and developing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and growing existing customer business. You would be in the enviable position of developing and executing a key business to Brandt’s strategy, while backed by a best in class support organization to help you grow and maintain your business.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • New account creation and development 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Customers. 
  • Achieve Sales targets as set out by the Company. 
  • Continuous development of a comprehensive Sales Pipeline of immediate/future Customer opportunities.  
  • Promote & sell all GeoPositioning products assigned to role. 
  • Understand and apply Machine and Company Feature, Advantage, Benefit statements to drive sales success.   
  • Deliver continuous prospecting activity and development of new accounts. 
  • Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
  • Actively participate in and promote Brandt during industry events as required. 
  • Maintain accurate records of Sales activities, Customer interactions, and Quotations. 
  • Submit lost sales reports on a timely basis.  Lost sales reports are to be filled out on all lost sales and submitted on a weekly basis to the manager.

What We Look For

  • Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of the Surveying and Construction industry considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Construction or Surveying considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
  • Ability to present and negotiate with potential customers.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious and energetic entrepreneurial outlook.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft office suite.
  • Must be available to travel as needed; a recent driver's abstract and valid passport are required.
  • Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
