Position Summary:Job Summary: The Senior Program Manager is a member of the program management team and will have primary responsibilities around managing leads delivered from SPS Commerce Partners (retailers) via formal engagements to drive maximum adoption in the shortest amount of time possible. The candidate will be considered the subject matter expert on trading partner on-boarding best practices and act as the key point of contact for all new Partner Enablement Programs. The Program Manager is considered an internal expert on driving adoption rates for external customer acquisition programs.

Essential Responsibilities / Duties

  • Engage in the planning and implementation of the more complex community programs of varying sizes (250-1000+ vendors)

  • Plan and create strategies, tactics, activities, and materials for the purpose of conveying the customer's message to their community while driving maximum adoption within program timelines

  • Draft, Package and distribute communication materials internally and externally

  • Develop and execute training for sales team to execute on trading partner outreach

  • Serve as liaison between the Partner (retailer) and its customers, and internal constituents, working collaboratively with the account team to understand dependencies and adjust outreach approach and campaign timelines accordingly

  • Provide meaningful recommendations and coaching to Partners to keep them on track with meeting their intended goals including vendor escalations and messaging execution

  • Balance when to escalate internally / manage issues independent of assistance while managing exceptions, priorities and workload

  • Provide recommendations (internally/externally and at all levels) to improve performance that demonstrates how best practices impacts overall performance

  • Provide program forecast recommendations based on best practice score and prior experience; forecast actuals are generally on target.

  • Mentor Associate level Program Managers via large engagement assistance

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience PLUS 5 - 8 years relevant experience

  • Proven ability to prioritize workload across multiple projects while focusing on quality and detail

  • Proven competence with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); expert level Excel skills and web analysis and reporting tools

  • Clear, concise, and confident communicator (verbal, non-verbal, written), able to facilitate communications and problem resolution internally and externally

  • Proven ability to understand unvoiced customer needs and adjust strategy appropriately
