Job description

Key Rehab is looking for a full-time Program Coordinator-OTA or PTA to join our team in providing excellent care in the Humboldt area in a SNF setting.

Education:
-Required: Completion of an accredited PTA or OTA program
Experience:
-Preferred: Prior experience in long term care setting and service coordination
Licenses/Certificates:
-Required: Current PTA or OTA license to practice in the state(s) assigned
-Required: CPR, as required by community
-Required: Valid driver license and car insurance as required by state law.
-Required: Other items as required by federal, state and local standards

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to efficiently manage tasks and address challenges with effective solutions.
  • Flexibility and Team Collaboration: Adaptable to changing situations and committed to working seamlessly within a team environment.
  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding oral and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
  • Experience with Geriatric Population: Prior experience working with elderly patients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Billing Regulations: Familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.

In addition to providing therapy under their disciplinary scope of practice (OTA or PTA), the Program Coordinator serves as the liaison between Key Rehab and community staff. This position is instrumental in minimizing administrative burden and providing support to allow clinicians’ to deliver therapy services. This position also coordinates staffing and daily scheduling to meet key performance indicators and expectations under the direction of a Regional Supervisor.
