Job description

As theProject Manager (Facilities), or designated written alternate, you will have full authority to act on behalf of the Contractor on all contract matters relating to the daily operation of this contract. Be physically present and available during business hours. Outside of business hours, be physically present within two hours of notification. Notification is considered complete when USG makes the call to the designate point of contact. A designated point of contact and alternate shall be available for contact by telephone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure seamless support continuity during personnel transitions
  • Serve as the primary interface with the Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR), and senior Government stakeholders
  • Lead the implementation and oversight of the contract Transition Plan
  • Manage the execution of the Program Management Plan (PMP) and maintain performance metrics
  • Act as the on-site liaison for formal communications with clients and government personnel, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Review and improve operational systems, procedures, and resources to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Oversee environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance, ensuring adherence to safe work practices
  • Monitor project cost controls, budgeting, and overall financial performance
  • Coordinate and prioritize operational tasks and workflows across teams
  • Identify and implement process improvements for cost-effectiveness and service delivery
  • Manage quality assurance for maintenance, repair, and service operations to ensure contract compliance
  • Verify accuracy and timeliness of all required project and management reports

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Business Administration, or 4 additional years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in senior-level project or program management roles of similar scale and complexity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as a Project Manager (PM) or Associate Project Manager (APM) supporting global life support services, including O&M, billeting, food services, logistics, procurement, and construction in austere or developing environments
  • PMP certification or equivalent expertise in project controls, budgeting, planning, procurement, scheduling, risk and change management, and contractor management

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Strong personnel leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven capability in cost control, project planning, procurement, and issue resolution
  • Familiarity with Maximo or similar asset management systems
  • Prior experience working with Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) environments
