Job Description:

SCOPE: The Associate Director of Philanthropy Operations (Database and Prospect Management Administrator) advances the organization's fundraising efforts by ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and viability of the organization's donor database, and manages donor and prospect research, pipeline development, and prospect tracking. Collaborates with staff across the organization; ensures the use of data-driven strategies to guide fundraising initiatives; serves as a key partner in driving fundraising results by aligning research and prospect management practices with organizational goals.

As an integral contributor to the success and growth of Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Foundation, this role provides essential operational support. The role leads data management for fundraising operations and the Grateful Patient Program, manages research efforts for the department, supervises the Office of Philanthropy volunteers, ensures efficient coordination, and aids with special projects as requested.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Data and Database System Management
Maintains a healthy and reliable donor database and implements best practices in data system management. In close partnership with gift processing, updates donor/prospect information and inputs new donors/prospects and information into donor database. Leads research efforts for departments and the Grateful Patient Program.
2.Prospect Management and Research
Develop and manage a strategic prospect pipeline. Track donor engagement and fundraising movement effectively.

3.Reporting and Analysis
Designs and produces reporting for fundraising evaluation, planning, and donor solicitation. Provides leadership for donor services processes and ensures appropriate database management training for the philanthropy team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
5-10 years of direct philanthropy experience strongly preferred.
Experience in data management, nonprofit development, or a related field.

Experience working with donor databases/CRM systems, such as Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, or DonorPerfect.
