About the Role

The Business Development Manager has responsibility to research, identify and develop sales opportunities resulting in new business awards for the Integrated Supply Division. The Integrated Supply Division provides MRO supplies and services to customers throughout North America. This position will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions and proposals for prospective Turtle Integrated clients.


This is a salary plus commission position.


What You'll Do

  • Engage with prospective clients on their goals and objectives for MRO management programs and services
  • Cultivate leads for proactive sales generation activities
  • Collaborate with Turtle Integrated Sales and Marketing on initiatives to generate interest and meaningful business contacts
  • Participate in events/shows to promote Turtle Integrated solutions
  • Prepare and present effective proposals and presentation materials based upon thoughtful engagement and analysis of customer requirements
  • Conduct on-site assessments, bid meetings and program implementation discussions as required
  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

  • College degree in sales related field is preferred. Degree may be substituted for significant experience within integrated supply and/or higher-level services
  • 5+ years’ experience in building relationships, leading and working in Outside Sales, Inside Sales, Account Management, Integrated Supply or similar practice
  • Knowledge of Maintenance and Repair Materials (MRO), most notably in a manufacturing or facilities environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, writing ability, and presentation and verbal skills, with prior experience presenting in group settings and to senior management
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and/or cost projections desired
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint; as well as digital platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter; ability to learn and work with other complementary software packages
  • Salesforce experience highly desirable
  • Ability to travel up to 50% when required
  • Aggressive sales personality, self-starter, able to motivate oneself.
