Hours: Monday–Friday; 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Some evenings required to support night classes.

What You'll Do:

Responsibilities of the EMS Program Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and coordinate program operations, ensuring student success in completion, licensure, and placement.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans for both classroom instruction and practical lab activities.
• Supervise and mentor students, ensuring a supportive and professional learning atmosphere.
• Oversee instructional quality through teaching, classroom/lab support, and faculty coaching.
• Supervise staff, including scheduling, onboarding, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, curriculum standards, and institutional policies.
• Manage department operations, equipment, safety, and supply purchasing.
• Support curriculum updates, program planning, and advisory committee activities.
• Facilitate department meetings, training, and continuous improvement efforts.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking professionals who are passionate about education and leadership. Successful candidates will have:

• Education Requirements: A high school diploma is required; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years of related industry experience with demonstrated leadership or teaching experience.

  • Education and leadership experience required.

• Licensure & Certification:

  • Current EMS Course Coordinator Certification through the Utah Department of Health/BEMS.

  • Nationally Certified as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician.

  • Current American Heart Association BLS, First Aid Certification.

• Organizational & Accountability: Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and program quality.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and learning/information systems such as Canvas.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
