Full Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Part Time: flexible days, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania.
Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.
The SilverSmart™ program explores technology tools and services to support independence and to make aging in place easier. The Program Coordinator serves as a bridge between aging services and innovation. This role is dedicated to identifying and implementing technology that empowers older adults to maintain independence and a high quality of life. The Program Coordinator will lead program initiatives, manage smart-home integrations, and provide hands-on technical support, ensuring smart technology is accessible and helpful to improve daily lives.
Qualifications
Program Coordinator, SilverSmart™ requirements:
  • Associate's degree in health-related field or marketing.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training.
  • Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, everyday language to a non-technical audience. Strong troubleshooting skills for both specialized smart-home systems and standard consumer electronics (iOS, Android, Windows, etc.). Ability to analyze market trends and conduct cost-benefit analyses for new tech implementations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, from high-level program planning to individual resident support tickets.
  • Current State Driver's license (in good standing).
  • Prior experience with initiating and leading discussions with residents and staff to identify specific needs, preferred.
