Job description

Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: This is a Hourly, Part-Time position is responsible to provide support for the Wayne County program and program director.
  • Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day-to-day operations of their program, particularly as it relates to contract compliance, service delivery, and the participants intake/referral process for services.
  • The work has less to do with general office duties than with assisting in the operation or administration of a local program/unit.
  • Position will also perform Advocate duties. Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings.

The position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.
Hourly Rate: $20.00-$22.00
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's Degree generally preferred; commensurate experience in community-based agency program is acceptable except for programs where the referring authority requires a specific degree.
  • At a minimum, at least one-year previous experience in managing personnel and budgets.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and families
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using an electronic health record (EHR) is a plus.
  • Experience in the provision of home and community-based services.
  • Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
