Job description

Overview
MHA in Ulster County, Inc. has a Full-Time position (37.5 hours per week) available as a Program Coordinator for the ACT Team. The ACT Program Coordinator provides reception and administrative support to the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT Team), which is a mobile multi-disciplinary team that provides intensive mental health treatment to 68 adults in Ulster County with a diagnosis of serious mental illness, and possible substance abuse problems.
The schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
The starting hourly pay rate is $20.85.
Responsibilities
  • The Coordinator maintains all clinical records in accordance with necessary policies and procedures, and assists with accounting, billing, and record keeping for the program.
  • The Coordinator maintains statistical reports, data entry, and other necessary clerical duties required to support the team.
  • The Coordinator will be assisting in the coordination of managed care.
  • This person will participate in various aspects of team meetings and other related programmatic responsibilities, including working within the community to advocate MHA services.

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in a related discipline or High School Diploma or Equivalent and three years' experience working in related field.
  • Knowledge of computers, accounting, and basic office duties are a necessity.
  • Knowledge of or experience working with Adults with Mental Health challenges preferred but not required.
  • A clean, valid NYS driver's license and 3 years of driving experience is required.
