Job description

About This Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on QC Supervisor to join our team at Murfreesboro, TN facility. In this role you will oversee daily quality control operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage QC department daily activities, and supervise QC team include but not limited to production monitoring (QC check), incoming materials and outgoing products inspection, plant wide GMP monitoring and controlling, and join daily products/materials sensory evaluation to ensure the plant operations comply with HACCP, SSOP, GMP, and other related regulations
  • Recruit, provide training, coach, and mentor to the QC team
  • Maintain a effective communication with USDA inspector and other regulatory agencies
  • Perform pre-op inspection with USDA
  • Review, maintain, and organize all QC and Line-QC daily documentation (pre-shipment record review), and release products for shipping
  • Conduct investigations of quality deviations and the initiation of corrective action and preventative action
  • Perform weekly and/or monthly HACCP, SSOP, pre-request programs and GMP compliances review
  • Implement food quality and processing areas environmental monitoring plans
  • Provide training and/or and guidance of food safety, QC procedures, product specifications, and best practices to all staff and workers to foster a strong Food Safety & Quality Culture
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining all 3rd party or regulatory audits
  • Calibrate, maintain, and validate QC lab equipment to ensure the accuracy
  • Perform other QC related duties as assigned by management


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • Bilingual is preferred (in English and Chinese)
  • Ability to supervise, train, and motivate QC staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and company standards.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent observation and documentation skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with production, R&D, and management teams
