The Project Coordinator role is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and provides support for Portfolio, Program, and Project Management activities. This role supports the department's overall functions to enable effective Project Governance and Program and Project execution. The Project Coordinator provides administration, process, and reporting support to governance and project execution. This role also manages small projects. The Project Coordinator must have excellent time management skills to function in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating independent work skills, problem solving skills, a strong work ethic and strong verbal and written communication skills.
This is a Full Time, remote, Project Coordinator role.
What You'll Do
  • Supports the leadership of the Project Management Office to ensure the effective administration of governance, programs, and projects
  • Defines large and complex demands that impact many functional areas across the organization.
  • Can identify, define, and document functional, technical, and business requirements to clearly define business needs.
  • Identifies and plans resource requirements for demands of all sizes and assesses resource capacity within teams and the organization.
  • Develops the financial details to support the business case for a demand. Understands the basic financial business case calculations.
  • Ensures that processes are followed to ensure effective outcomes and the generation of meaningful metrics
  • Provides administration support to Programs and Projects of most sizes
  • Assists with the definition of new demands, identification of stakeholders, and the development of resource plans
  • Works across departments and across the organization in support of project administration
  • Supports resource management by learning to assess resource capacity and working to resolve resourcing conflicts
  • Communicates effectively across the PMO department to include project updates and issues/risks escalation to project managers and leaders
  • Provides input on best practices for project administration within the PMO
  • Tracks project performance according to predefined metrics and under the guidance of a project manager or PMO Leader
  • Works independently and escalates all issues to management prior to reaching critical status

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) OR a High School Diploma/GED/associate degree AND equivalent work experience
  • PMI (Project Management Institute) ®️ CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) (preferred) or willingness to obtain once certification requirements are met (required)
  • 1 - 3 years of project administration or coordination experience working with stakeholders at multiple levels across business units is preferred; however, equivalent education or other experience will be considered
  • Healthcare experience preferred, not required
  • Strong time management, organizational, administrative, and attention to detail at both individual and team levels
  • Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply them in real-world situations
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation development, meeting planning and facilitation, agenda/minutes creation/documentation, and other communication development preferred
  • Basic level of skill in Microsoft Tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project preferred
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow preferred

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $23 - $28.85 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0692 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
