Job Duties

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.

  1. Identifies potential and actual problems, probable causes, and provides recommendations for resolution. Researches a variety of issues, gathers statistics and information, and reports findings for the full scope of a program or function.
  2. Monitors, reviews, and evaluates operations and interrelationships with other functions regarding workflow, work redundancy, or systemic problems and provides recommendations to higher levels analyst(s) or supervisor.
  3. Verifies completeness of controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures, guidelines, and formats.
  4. Revises procedures, guidelines, and controls as a result of changes in higher level procedures or as instructed by analyst(s) or comparable positions.
  5. Prepares memoranda, preliminary reports, and charts showing findings and recommendations.
