Primary Purpose:
Assists faculty investigators, program directors, and research staff with project coordination, data collection and management, regulatory compliance activities, reporting requirements, participant communications, and day-to-day program operations.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Assists with the coordination and implementation of research projects and program activities.
2. Maintains research records, databases, and project documentation.
3. Collects, enters, verifies, and organizes research data in accordance with established protocols.
4. Assists with participant recruitment, scheduling, communication, and follow-up activities.
5. Supports preparation and submission of reports, summaries, presentations, and other project-related documents.
6. Monitors project timelines and assists with tracking milestones and deliverables.
7. Coordinates meetings, prepares agendas, records minutes, and follows up on action items.
8. Assists with Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions, renewals, and regulatory documentation as directed.
9. Maintains confidential research records in accordance with applicable regulations and institutional policies.
10. Assists with grant-related administrative activities, including expenditure tracking and documentation support.
11. Orders, inventories, and maintains program materials, supplies, and equipment.
12. Communicates and collaborates with faculty, staff, students, community partners, and external stakeholders.
13. Provides administrative support including correspondence, filing, scheduling, and record management.
14. Assists with the preparation of manuscripts, posters, abstracts, and scholarly materials.
15. Supports quality assurance activities and helps ensure compliance with research protocols and institutional procedures.
16. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
