Job description

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Assistant is responsible for product sampling, completing new item load sheets and assisting the Marketing Department personnel with projects and special assignments.  This will be achieved by maintaining HellermannTyton's IATF16949/ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 EMS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.

Essential Functions:

  • Fill customer and salesperson sample requests and continuously improve sample program.
  • Assist Product Managers with special pricing requests and information for standard products.
  • Initiate Manufacturing Cost Requests for new products.
  • Initiate Engineering Change Notices for Marketing needs.
  • Enter and ensure shipment of product order requests from Marketing personnel.
  • Complete Item Master Load Sheets and other product templates.
  • Assist with sampling and product coordination for product photography and special testing.
  • Assist with new product launch and trade show material preparation.

Other Functions:

  • Assist with special projects as directed by the Director of Product Marketing.
  • Initiate Purchase Order Requisitions for Marketing office supplies and various other items.

Success in this Role Requires:

  • Consistently positive attitude.
  • Understanding of marketing and customer service processes.
  • Timely responses to sales and customers.
  • Knowledge of QS9000 and IATF16949 quality systems, and ISO14001 environmental system.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Can-do, customer-oriented focus.

  • Associate's degree or some college (minimum 2 years)required in Marketing related field, Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
