BRIDGE Program Assistant

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers – Columbus, GA

The Mission Services division is currently seeking a BRIDGE Program Assistant with excellent secretarial, clerical and administrative skills. 

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc.’s BRIDGE Program Assistant responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support and clerical functions for the program team. Prioritize, coordinate, maintain, and update schedules and calendars; regularly arrange meetings, conferences, graduations, and appointments.
  • Control building access by greeting and directing students, partners, and visitors. Answer the telephone and direct the caller to the appropriate team member.
  • Schedule student orientation, tutoring, and case management appointments.
  • Assist in ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing office supplies. Assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating. Assist with weekly and monthly 5S and facility audits.
  • Manage the admission process and maintain student data. - Enroll students in the case management system.
  • Serve as a backup to generate monthly academic and case management reports.
  • Contact adult education and academic enrichment partners regularly regarding student intake, referral, or support services. Ensure enrollment compliance by collecting all required documentation from prospective students.
  • Assist students and prospective students in completing required forms/documentation.

Requirements:

  • Requires a level of knowledge normally gained through completion of an associate degree program
  • Minimum 3 years of work-related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft application products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Etc.
