Title: Assistant Men's Volleyball CoachDepartment: Athletics
Category: Part-time, non-exempt, stipend
Reports to: Head Men's Volleyball Coach

Summary/ObjectiveThe assistant men's volleyball coach will support the head coach in recruitment, management, training and coaching of the men's volleyball team.
Essential Functions
  • Support goals and objectives of the Athletics Program.
  • Assist the Head Coach with organization of team equipment, practices, recruitment, team travel, fundraising, and any other area of responsibility as directed by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics.
  • Work cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel.
  • Support the student-athlete concept and demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete.
  • Coordinate practice, film, or training sessions with specific positional groups, redshirt players, or scout players, as assigned.
  • Assist with athlete recruitment, campus visits, prospect camps, and scouting.
  • Additional duties as assigned
