Position Summary
The Program Assistant provides BASICS substance use screening services to Carolina students referred by Student Conduct, Housing & Res Life, or local Courts Deferral Programs.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
* Previous experience working in BASICS screening.
* Broad knowledge of substance use, college student development, and Motivational Interviewing.
Special Physical/Mental Requirements
Must be able to move up to 25 lbs. of programming supplies with or without accommodation.
Campus Security Authority Responsibilities

This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
