Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities
General clerical work and project support for faculty members in the Information Systems Management (ISM), Data Analytics, and Master's of Science in Cybersecurity & Risk Management (MCRM) programs, including but not limited to:
  • Assistance with program marketing and PR efforts
    • Create flyers and digital announcements for ISM, Data Analytics, and MCRM-related events
    • Draft weekly social media posts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) - to be reviewed/approved before posting
    • Review ISM, MCRM, and BSBA Data Analytics web content for accuracy as well as discrepancies (faculty bios, program requirements, model schedules, course updates, etc.)
    • Help maintain bulletin boards and the digital screen in the Room 200 suite regarding program news, student opportunities, and events, etc.
  • Support for planning logistics for guest lectures, lunch and learn events, ISM Day (planned for Fall 2026), MCRM IAB meetings, etc.
    • Reserve rooms
    • Test equipment setup
    • Assist with promoting the event via posters and social media
    • Create sign-in sheets and manage RSVP tracking
    • Photograph events and collect speaker bios for program records
    • Draft meeting minutes
  • Support for program data analytic efforts
    • Assist with data entry and analysis of spreadsheets such as ISM exit survey data (anonymously collected)
    • Support faculty in generating basic data analytics and visualizations of assessment data for curriculum review
    • Assist with creating public facing dashboards as recommended by ACBSP (e.g. charts showing course pass rates, job placement stats, etc.)
  • Participation in campus events, greeting students/visitors, making copies, preparing bulk mailings, and other duties as assigned

  • Self-starter, detail oriented, and reliable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with others
  • Work independently as well as work effectively in a team
  • Trusted to handle sensitive materials with confidentiality and FERPA requirements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience with social media
