Start your career supporting the FBIโ€™s Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Divisionโ€”one of the nationโ€™s most advanced criminal justice data and technology centers.

As a Program Analyst (Entry-Level), you will play a critical role in reviewing and verifying records used to determine eligibility for firearm and explosives possession. Your work directly supports public safety, national security, and federal law enforcement operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct background check research and records verification for firearm and explosives eligibility
  • Review criminal history records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal guidelines
  • Process and update case information in secure databases
  • Communicate with law enforcement agencies via phone, email, and fax
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues for resolution
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of all actions taken
  • Support process improvements and workflow updates

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree OR 2+ years of relevant experience
