Job description

Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Dietary Aide, Union - to join our - team!  Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. 

Position Summary: The Dietary Aide performs a variety of patient food service, cafeteria food service and dish room duties, as well as catered tasks and other related tasks. The Dietary Aide, Union is expected to provide exceptional customer service.

Work Schedule: FTE 0.6, 24 hours per week, days, variable start times, every other weekend.

Preferred Qualifications: High school education or equivalent preferred, but is not required, food service experience preferred. Must be able to communicate effective via the written and spoken word. Must be able to perform simple cash transactions. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
Servsafe certification a plus (which will be offered after the employee is hired).
