The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Abilene Christian University invites applications for a visiting assistant professor or college assistant professor to teach freshman level chemistry and other chemistry courses as assigned beginning Fall 2026. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching.
A visiting assistant professor will be expected to teach 4 courses per semester and conduct research with undergraduate students during the semester and
summer. A college faculty member will teach 4 courses per semester and 2 courses in the summer.
A masters degree in chemistry or a related field is required, a Ph.D. is preferred
