Assistant Coach (Seasonal) - Men's Volleyball

Job Title: Assistant Coach (Seasonal), Men's Volleyball
Department: Men's Volleyball-Men
Reports to: Head Coach, Men'sVolleyball
Status: Seasonal, Non-Benefit Eligible
Location: Lisle Campus
Rate: Stipend up to $4,500 based on thestart date of assigned period
Position Summary: Assistthe Head Coach with the day-to-day operations of the Benedictine UniversityMen's Volleyball Program.
Essential JobResponsibilities:
1. Follow and enforce all NCAA Bylaws, league regulations,university academic and other policies and procedures.
2. Assist with athlete recruitment.
3. Assist with the running of practicesand practice content.
4. Assist with scouting and gamepreparation.
5. Assist with the oversight andmonitoring of academic progress of student-athletes.
6. Assist with scheduling contests, travelarrangements and ordering equipment and supplies.
7. Provideperiodic administrative assistance.
8. Create and foster an environment that promotes theoverall health and welfare of student athletes.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate/GED Required, Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience: 3+ Years workingwith High Level Club or Collegiate Teams
Specific Skills: Knowledge of High-Level VolleyballSystems
Specific Knowledge, Licenses, Certifications: Yes, CPR certification preferred, Valid Driver's license required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to handle varying levels of stress while maintainingprofessional demeanor. Possible lifting, bending, walking, kneeling,stretching, and stooping. Frequent districtwide and statewide travel; frequentprolonged and irregular hours; outdoor exposure to sun/heat or cold weather.
Ability to speakclearly so listeners can understand. Understand the speech of another person.
