  • Scrum Master
  • Candidates will play a critical role in shaping the way teams deliver solutions to protect client.
  • The Scrum Master is a change agent that coaches and collaborates with people and teams to help them improve and deliver their best work.
  • In this position, the qualified candidate will operate as a team Scrum Master for multiple teams within a Agile Release Train (ART).
  • Working together, candidates will help the organization on their path towards agile maturity and business agility.
  • In this role, the Scrum Master will enable the teams' effectiveness of delivery and cultivate an environment that supports Agility.
  • Coaches, mentors and teaches team members, proactively seeks to eliminate or minimize impact of barriers, and address challenges to delivery.
  • Candidates' contributions in this role will be an important element of client agile development and delivery practice, helping realize client vision to continuously improve the way client work.
About the job:
  • Facilitate team ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning and retrospectives to ensure full team engagement with a focus on growing the capabilities of all team members.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner(s) and teams to support short and longterm planning and maintain a healthy backlog that is prepared for execution.
  • Shield the teams from interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity.
  • Collaborate with teams to discover their needs; plan and deliver instruction and coaching while enduring alignment with the organizational strategy.
  • Focus on increasing the skill and understanding of Agile practices and values by actively coaching team members on growth mindset and maturing current Agile adoption.
  • Champion continuous improvement activities to increase productivity; coach squads to conduct continuous improvement.
  • Anticipate and address impediments to team and help manage interdependencies between agile teams.
  • Regularly assess Agile maturity and actively coach to higher levels of growth, partnering with peers to help impact portfolio maturity.
  • Use data, observation and analytical skills to proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in team health and delivery, develop proposed solutions, and share knowledge and best practices across teams.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Scrum Master/Release Train Engineer to design and execute the path for the teams' agile maturity.
  • Actively seek coaching and mentoring from more experienced Scrum Masters and coaches on LeanAgile techniques and mindset.
Desired Skills:
  • The ideal candidate has considerable experience guiding agile teams through the ebb and flow of agile transformation.
  • Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices and Agile project management concepts, practices, and techniques is preferred.
  • Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills.
  • Proficient skills in presentation, influence, and relationship management.
  • Previous experience as a Scrum Master is required.
  • Agile certification preferred.
  • Project management skills, excellent time management skills, and the ability to multitask in a crossfunctional environment is preferred.

  • Max Bill Rate: $110 /hr.
  • Duration: Through end of year, with possible extension.

Location:
  • Boston area preferred (onsite 2X a week, actual days will be coordinated with team).
  • Remote will also be considered as long as they are able to work EST hrs.
