Job Description
Teach our members how to live the fittest years of their lives. This opportunity requires you to be skilled in the art of education, motivation, engagement, and communication.
Responsibilities include creating and delivering specialized fitness programming and executing an educational strength and conditioning class for our students. Executing personal training sessions to help people get out of pain and reach their goals. As well as fulfilling both opening and closing duties to help preserve the presentation and longevity of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Coach up to 10 group classes a week
  • Conduct 1 on 1 personal training sessions for new and existing members up to 20 hours per week
  • Manage Individual Program Design and/or Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching for up to 20 clients per month
  • Attend and actively participate in regularly scheduled coach meetings and coach development sessions
  • Never ending pursuit of coaching excellence via continued education, coach development sessions, and 1-on-1 coach evaluations
  • Actively participate in Icehouse Fit group classes, social media, and community events
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Push gym, team, and clients towards excellence each day
  • Be an open source of communication
  • Cover additional sessions when needed
  • Fulfill all pre/post session duties
  • Be on the floor and engaged with members at least 10 minutes before and after every group session
  • Be fully prepared with a lesson plan prior to each session and understand class coaching notes
  • Greet and service walk-ins when necessary
  • Actively participate in all group coach development and 1-on-1 coach development sessions
  • Continued education and never-ending pursuit of coaching excellence
