Linwood is currently seeking a self-motivated, reliable and safety-oriented applicants for our Mine Production Trainee role in our Quarry Operations. This is a temporary opportunity supporting our operations for an undetermined period. For the right candidate, this position may open the door to future long-term opportunities within our organization.
Our Mine Production Trainees are responsible for helping to keep the quarry operations running smoothly by ensuring proper clean-up and flow of product through both physical and machine-driven work. This is an entry-level role with on-the-job training provided - no previous experience required!
What makes you successful in this position?
  • Enjoyment of manual, physical work and being outdoors.
  • Comfortable using basic tools, such as a shovel, but are also willing to learn how to operate equipment such as a skidsteer, loader or haul truck.
  • A team player mentality and having the desire to be a part of a successful, hard-working team.
  • Flexibility, as no two days will be the same.

This is a 1st shift position that works Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3pm each day, with the option for overtime. Pay starts at $22.00/hour+. All candidates must possess a high school diploma, valid drivers license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
