How this Role Will Be Impactful

This role will assist the Inside Sales Coordinator and Plant Scheduler in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of products through the complete production cycle for 2nd shift. As part of the scheduling team, you will maintain production schedules according to customer needs, maximizing effectiveness and throughput in all aspects of the production process. You will also distribute upcoming schedules to team leads and supervisors and communicate with our leadership team regarding the status of existing orders.

Key Requirements:

  • Work with production and shipping to track WIP and finished inventory daily

  • Work closely with operations and the sales team to optimize mix and overall profitability

  • Provide direction on production schedule for both facilities by shift and line (limiting changeovers, maximizing output, coordinating the transfer of both WIP and Finished products to facilities, ship outbound loads, etc.).

  • Execute Perfect Order Rate (On Time x Order Fill Rate) of 97.5%

Work Requirements and Environment & Reasonable Accommodations Statement

This role is based on-site in Harrisonburg, VA. Work conducted in our production plants. Occasional travel locally between our locations in Harrisonburg, VA.

Work may require access the production environment. Must be able to tolerate the varying heat, wet, and chill of the plant. Hearing and eye-protective equipment required in the production area. Required to wear hair and beard nets in the production area. Must be able to traverse a two-story staircase multiple times per day.
