Job description

VIP staffing is Immediately hiring a detail-oriented, highly organized individual who is eager to grow within a dynamic, mission-driven manufacturing environment.
Position Title: Production Scheduling Assistant.
This is a Full time, Temp To hire position with a schedule of Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm.
Pay for this position is $20-$22 per hour.

As a Production Scheduling Assistant you will:
  • Assist in developing and maintaining daily production schedules based on forecasts, inventory levels and lead times.
  • Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure efficient, feasible production plans.
  • Monitor production progress and identify delays or workflow bottlenecks.
  • Update ERP systems and production boards with real-time scheduling changes and data.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives around scheduling, workflow optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Generate work orders and shift-specific documentation based on the approved production schedule.
  • Attend and drive cross-department planning/scheduling related meetings.
Production Scheduling Assistant candidates must meet the following requirements for Consideration:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field (preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or production planning.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data entry skills.
  • Expert organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain flexible in a dynamic production environment.
Preferred but not required Skills:
  • Experience in solar or renewable energy manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
