Production Scheduling Coordinator

The Production Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for releasing production orders and job packets to support on time manufacturing. This role works closely with schedulers, production, procurement, and materials teams to ensure the efficient flow of production orders, minimize downtime, and support on-time delivery of Excellerate Products.

Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Planning and Control Manager, the Production Scheduling Coordinator focuses on synchronizing the flow of work through production by timely and accurate releasing of production orders and travelers/job packets.

The ideal candidate is solutions-oriented, detail-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift frequently and precision matters.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: High School Degree or GED.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in production, shop floor coordination, or manufacturing support in a manufacturing environments
  • Travel: 0-5%
  • Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Release production orders and associated job packets as required per the schedule.
  • Collect and reconcile completed job packets.
  • Assist schedulers in revising production orders and job packets as needed.
  • Assist schedulers in monitoring material availability on production orders.
  • Assist in tracking key performance indicators such as schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery.
  • Assist in communicating schedule changes clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives focused on lead time reduction, flow improvement, and responsiveness.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
