Job description

Growing Consumer Products Manufacturer in Fall River, MA has a need for a Production Manager. This is a direct hire opening with a full benefits package. 

Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
Ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
Ensure output meets quality standards including product specifications
Ensure output meets product quality, safety and industry standards for sanitation
Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.) needed to achieve goals and targets
Work with Facilities Manager to coordinate maintenance work, purchasing of equipment, supplies, etc.
Motivate, support and provide guidance to production staff
Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
Set productivity goals for each manufacturing team
Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
 

Key Job Requirements:
Deep knowledge of production management
Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
Experience in reporting on key production metrics
Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
Outstanding communication ability
Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
Education/Experience
