Job description

JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead and direct the daily operations of our thermal spray production team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a willingness to actively participate in production tasks alongside the team when necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plans and manages shop production scheduling, establishing daily and weekly priorities.
  • Oversee daily production activities ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.
  • Step in and perform production work alongside team members as needed to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer scheduling updates.
  • Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability and willingness to perform production tasks alongside the team.
  • Must be a US person pursuant to ITAR / EAR.
  • Ability to maintain positive employee relations and high levels of employee engagement.
  • One year of hands-on-thermal spray, coating, or related manufacturing experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform production tasks while leading a team.
