Heartline Staffing is recruiting a 2nd Shift Production Manager for an onsite manufacturing position in Pinellas Park, Florida. This position is responsible for production scheduling, employee supervision, production goals, training, performance management, continuous improvement, and safe work practices. The Production Manager will also work with the GM to build the 2nd shift.
POSITION OVERVIEW
• Review production orders and ensure production schedules are met
• Organize assigned work and supervise and assist employees with daily work performance
• Anticipate production and personnel problems and resolve issues to minimize production impact
• Maintain good housekeeping and enforce safe work practices
• Set work schedules and hire employees to meet production goals
• Develop training schedules for new employees
• Evaluate employee performance and assign employees to appropriate positions to increase productivity
• Maintain department employee records, including attendance and performance evaluations

ROLE
• Implement continuous improvement activities to reduce scrap and increase productivity
• Develop, maintain, and adjust job routers
• Conduct and distribute disciplinary actions to employees
• Prepare production, safety, and other reports for upper management
• Establish department objectives and goals to support production targets
• Direct employees toward production goals
• Provide clear instructions and maintain organized production operations
• Work with plating specifications and process characteristics and limitations
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Work with production machinery and methods used within the department
• Motivate, influence, and train employees
• Manage multiple jobs simultaneously
• Work independently without supervision
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent REQUIRED
• 5-10 Years Of Industry Or Related Experience REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 Years Of Management Experience REQUIRED
• HAZWOPER Training REQUIRED
• Forklift License REQUIRED
• Hands-On Factory Floor Management Experience REQUIRED
• Familiarity With Plating Specifications And Plating Process Characteristics And Limitations REQUIRED
• Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints And Drawings REQUIRED
• Production Machinery And Manufacturing Process Knowledge REQUIRED
• Ability To Work Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-11:30 PM Onsite In Pinellas Park REQUIRED
