Job Summary

The Pour Line Assistant supports foam production operations by working directly with the Pour Line Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate handling of materials. This role is responsible for loading and transferring chemicals, maintaining equipment, recording production data, and following safety and operational protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Pour Line Manager to carry out production directives in a professional and positive manner.

  • Safely load, unload, and transfer chemicals from railcars, tankers, totes, and drums into holding tanks.

  • Monitor pressure gauges and flow meters; adjust valves to control pump speed, pressure, and material flow rates.

  • Perform routine maintenance on pumps and lines, including replacing filters and gaskets, tightening connections, and making necessary adjustments.

  • Collect material samples for laboratory analysis.

  • Accurately record quantities of material pumped and inventory levels in storage tanks.

  • Conduct regular inventory checks of storage tanks and report findings.

  • Follow 5S workplace organization practices and comply with all safety procedures and protocols.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must meet all requirements of Pour Line Operator Levels 1 through 4.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in chemical handling or foam production.

  • Proficient in reading measuring devices and following detailed procedures.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
