JOB DESCRIPTION
Vertafore's Compliance Product Analyst is responsible for coordinating regulatory updates to products, communicating updates to stakeholders, managing work expectations for RCS activities, and performing configuration A successful analyst will learn the product and how to maintain it. The analyst will understand creating and working Jira tickets. These individuals work closely with internal teams and externally with customers and business partners.
Core Responsibilities:
• Analyzes RCS BA JIRA tickets created by stakeholders in order to prioritize unassigned tickets
• Coordinates regulatory updates to products, between internal and external stakeholders
• Understands regulatory and business requirements, and translates into technical requirements
• Utilizes JIRA tickets to manage and communicate work expectations
• Creates JIRA tickets in other team environments as appropriate
• Works configuration tickets according to team standards
• Maintains accuracy of Kanban board
• Performs certain project managerial activities, e.g. coordinates cross-functional team projects
• Analyzes and communicates to stakeholders impacts of upcoming regulatory changes to production and test systems
• Performs production and test environment verification tasks and quality assurance
• Continually educates self regarding products serviced
• Understands and interprets business requirements and regulatory concepts
• Reviews company policies and procedures to determine compliance
• Performs limited quality assurance tasks
• Works configuration tickets according to team standards
Core Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of insurance or securities industry, particularly licensing and compliance
• Detail oriented and able to understand and interpret complex industry requirements and regulatory concepts within the insurance and financial industries
• Advanced interpersonal communication skills including the ability to discuss and interpret laws and rules accurately and clearly in writing
• Able to work well in teams and independently
• Excellent time management skills
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to organize and work multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; MS Project a plus
• Tech savvy with knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Core Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Project management experience helpful.

• Travel required up to 5% of the time

• Ability to work remote with a stable internet connection on an as needed basis
