Job description


We are seeking a motivated financial accounting professional who can make a meaningful impact and pursue continued career growth with Genesis Products. Key areas of responsibility include accounts payable processing, accounts receivable and inventory accounting support, and working with Genesis financial systems.
Responsibilities
  • Build an in-depth understanding of the Genesis organization, financial processes, systems and standards of practice
  • Proactively execute accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processing, including communication with vendors and Genesis team to ensure accurate and timely completion
  • Support maintenance and review of vendor-managed inventory levels with key customers
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and communicate effectively with key process partners externally
  • Maintain balance sheet accounting for specific accounts, including monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Execute time-sensitive work to achieve results within deadlines
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance controls, financial performance and data reliability
  • Other financial projects as needed

Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 3 or more years' experience in accounting and finance
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
