• 10+ years of HR Tech / Workday experience with deep Compensation & Benefits domain expertise
• Strong functional knowledge of Workday Advanced Compensation and Benefits Administration
• Experience defining product vision, roadmap, backlog, priorities, and measurable product outcomes
• Hands-on understanding of compensation cycles including merit, bonus, and equity processes
• Benefits design and administration experience, including outsourced vendor ecosystems such as Alight
• Ability to partner with solution engineers and architects on scalable Workday configurations
• Understanding of AI, automation, analytics, data governance, security, and compliance considerations
• Strong executive stakeholder management with ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution
Roles & Responsibilities
Role Summary
A senior, product-oriented leader responsible for shaping and delivering the Compensation & Benefits product ecosystem within Workday. This role combines deep functional expertise with technical acumen to drive roadmap, innovation including AI, and scalable solutions aligned with business strategy. The role will also help rethink and modernize the end-to-end Benefits experience across outsourced vendor ecosystems such as Alight and integrated platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
• Define and own the Compensation & Benefits product vision and multi-year roadmap
• Translate business strategy into clear product outcomes, features, and priorities
• Lead prioritization using value-based frameworks covering experience, efficiency, and compliance
Domain Expertise & Advisory
• Act as a trusted advisor to Total Rewards leaders
• Provide deep expertise in compensation cycles including merit, bonus, and equity
• Provide expertise in benefits design, administration, regulatory, and compliance considerations
• Challenge and guide business stakeholders toward simplified, scalable processes
Solution Design & Delivery
• Partner with solution engineers and architects to design scalable Workday configurations
• Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery, design, build, and release
• Lead prototyping and design thinking sessions with business and technology stakeholders
Innovation & AI Enablement
• Identify AI-driven opportunities for compensation insights such as pay equity and recommendations
• Identify opportunities for benefits personalization and employee decision support
• Partner with platform teams to integrate AI, automation, and analytics into the product ecosystem
Execution & Governance
• Own backlog, prioritization, and delivery alignment
• Ensure alignment with platform standards, data governance, security, and compliance expectations
Drive adoption and measure outcomes such as compensation cycle efficiency and employee experience
Ability to work with Total Rewards leaders, HR technology teams, solution architects, platform teams, outsourced benefits vendors, and offshore/onshore delivery teams to drive roadmap, delivery, adoption, and measurable business outcomes.
