Decision Technologies seeks a qualified Product Support Coordinator to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia
Position Description:
This Product Support Coordinator position provides dedicated contractor support to the Navy Surveillance Radar Division team. Operating within the Product Support (PS) Cross Product Team (CPT), this role facilitates strategic alignment with Warfighting Acquisition University (WarU) Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements to optimize system readiness, availability, maintainability, and supportability. The position coordinates cross-functional team members, stakeholders, and external partners within a complex defense acquisition environment, utilizing data analytics, automation, and digital engineering tools to streamline product support deliverables and maximize fleet radar operational availability.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Develop, integrate, and recommend acquisition and life-cycle sustainment strategies across all WarU IPS Elements for government approval.
• Facilitate the standardization of product support methodologies and promote common, repeatable practices across all Surveillance Radar Division Programs.
• Draft, review, and maintain critical product support deliverables, including Logistics Product Data (LPD), Allowance Parts Lists (APLs), and Allowance Equipage Lists (AELs).
• Coordinate the development of sustainment documentation, including Equipment Maintenance Plans (EMP), Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs), PMS Service Requests (PSR), and configuration work files.
• Analyze and update technical data and metrics, assisting with the modernization of technical manuals/Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), engineering service requests, technical feedback reports, and operational availability (Ao) performance metrics.
• Foster collaboration across blended engineering, logistics, sustainment, and acquisition teams to ensure unified program execution.
• Represent the Product Support function in technical reviews, engineering change proposals (ECPs), program audits, and briefings as authorized by the Government Lead.
• Support the transition of legacy product support to a digital, model-driven sustainment environment.
• Utilize Model-Based Product Support (MBPS) methodologies and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools to analyze and optimize radar system readiness.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaboration and bridge communication gaps between engineering, field technical teams, and Logistics Element Managers (LEMs).
• Strong interpersonal and briefing skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a data-driven mindset to resolve complex logistics and sustainment challenges.
• Proven ability to thrive, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced, acquisition- and sustainment-focused environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Flank Speed and MS Teams collaboration environments.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with Model-Based Product Support (MBPS), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, digital twin concepts, and digital thread integration.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies in a defense acquisition environment.
• Direct familiarity with Navy radar platforms, specifically the AN/SPY or AN/SPS series.
• Understanding of NAVSEA processes, shipboard modernization, and Navy Data Environment (NDE) workflows.
• Knowledge of Logistics Product Data SAE GEIA-STD-007, Technical Manuals/IETMs (S1000D/MIL-STD-24784), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (MIL-STD-3034).
• Familiarity with Navy provisioning and allowance procedures, including S00010-A2-MAN-010 and NAVSEAINST 4423.5.
• Familiarity with DoW/DoD lifecycle frameworks, specifically DoDI 5000.91 (Product Support Management for the Adaptive Acquisition Framework), DoDD 5000.01, and DoDI 5000.02.
