What's New With Aptar?

We have an exciting position open for a Pricing Intern supporting our Cary, IL manufacturing facilities.  This position will be a hybrid of remote/on-site (after initial training phase) and will work approximately 10-15 hours during the school semester and full-time during the summer months.

Job Elements & Position Responsibilities

  • Manage our email account dedicated to price change requests, and hold the responsibility for review, documentation compliance, and execution of changes in SAP related to those requests
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly company-wide and customer-specific price change implementations based on raw material volatility
  • Complete various projects within pricing, including analyzing customer pricing and maintaining/updating customer price lists
  • Provide support to Customer Service and Sales representatives for tasks associated with pricing
  • Assist other areas of the accounting department as needed, which may include monthly reporting tasks and internal controls testing

Qualifications  

  • Pursuing an Accounting or Business degree
  • Sophomore/Junior/Senior Status
  • Ability to work 10-15 hours per week during Fall/Spring Semester and full-time during the summer months

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong MS Office/computer skills, with in-depth knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and good time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the starting hourly rate for this internship position is: $19.00/hour.  Aptar also offers 401(k) match and employer retirement savings contribution, and paid time off for this role.
