About the Role
The Product Owner role at PSI is responsible for analyzing client requirements and mapping our products and services to meet client needs. The person in this role is required to think about the whole picture, both clients and PSI capabilities/needs. Product Owners see a need and how that can be met with specific product features and advise clients how it could be achieved in different ways.
This is a permanent role (full -time), with flexible working but core availability through Monday-Friday office hours. The role is performed hybrid at our Olathe, KS office (18000 W 105th St. Olathe, KS 66061), with occasional opportunities to travel available for meetings, in-person workshops and delivery.
Role Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with customers to define end-to-end solutions.
  • Advise, lead and document solution proposals.
  • Scope requirements for PSI development teams.
  • Provide product specifications and engage with PSI development teams.
  • Offer technical guidance.
  • Provide customer training and feedback.
  • Give on-site assistance during product delivery.
  • Train PSI staff as required.
  • Perform product demos as part of implementation and pre-sales.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements
  • Experience in product ownership and solution architecture.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum / Kanban methodology.
  • Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps or JIRA.
  • Experience with Trello, Salesforce, and the Productboard product management application a plus.
  • Experience collaborating using Microsoft Teams a plus.
  • Experience in interpreting API specifications a plus.
  • Skills of using database tools, query writing, and any HTML or CSS skills are a plus.
