Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Product Owner (Salesforce) in Portland, OR.
Responsibilities:
* Own and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and organizational priorities
* Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
* Develop, prioritize, and maintain a well-defined product backlog that delivers maximum business value
* Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to drive product strategy, solution design, and successful delivery
* Facilitate communication between business and IT teams, serving as a trusted advisor and product subject matter expert
* Establish and optimize product management processes, tools, and workflows, including Jira and other Agile platforms
* Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and feature prioritization activities to support Agile delivery teams
* Evaluate user feedback, business challenges, and operational needs to identify product enhancements and new opportunities
* Monitor product progress, communicate roadmap updates, and ensure delivery aligns with stakeholder expectations
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product effectiveness, team efficiency, and user experience
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar product-focused role
* Proven experience developing product roadmaps, managing product backlogs, and defining user stories and requirements
* Experience working closely with both business and technical teams to deliver enterprise solutions
* Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile project management tools
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and consultative problem-solving skills
* Strong analytical skills with a strategic, customer-focused mindset
* Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product requirements and delivery plans
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing initiatives and drive product decisions using business value and customer impact
* Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management platforms preferred
* Agile certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, or equivalent are preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
