Overview of the job
As we enter our next stage of growth, we are evolving our global infrastructure into a unified four-pillar leadership model consisting of Revenue, Operations, Finance & People, and Marketing.
We are looking for a commercially sharp, narrative-led, execution-driven SVP, Global Marketing to build the marketing operating system that elevates Influencer's category leadership, generates demand, strengthens our partner ecosystem, and equips our Revenue teams to win globally.
The mission for this role is to turn company strategy into market narrative, commercial momentum, and global brand consistency. You will own how Influencer shows up to clients, platforms, creators, press, talent, and the broader industry - ensuring every external touchpoint reinforces our leadership in creator marketing, our technology advantage, and our ambition to pay creators $1 billion.
Primary KPI: Increasing global pipeline demand and marketing's measurable contribution to revenue growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Global Brand, Category & Narrative Leadership
  • Own Influencer's global positioning as the leading independent creator marketing specialist, ensuring our market narrative is clear, differentiated, and commercially useful across all regions.
  • Translate company strategy, client success, platform innovation, and creator economy shifts into a sharp external point of view that strengthens awareness, trust, and category leadership.
  • Build and govern the systems, guidelines, messaging frameworks, and quality standards that ensure brand consistency across every external channel, market, and leadership voice.

Product Marketing & Go-To-Market Strategy
  • Own the commercial positioning for Waves, Ocean, AI-enabled capabilities, and productized services, translating technical functionality into clear client outcomes.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Product Solutions & Operations, and Revenue to build internal and external launch strategies for new features, services, and commercial propositions.
  • Develop the messaging, case studies, collateral, and proof points that connect Influencer's technology stack to efficiency, creativity, measurement, margin, and client value.

Commercial Enablement & Demand Generation
  • Equip Revenue teams with the content, tools, narratives, and proof required to win across every stage of the sales cycle.
  • Build a disciplined demand engine across newsletters, reports, thought leadership, webinars, events, campaigns, and lead generation activity.
  • Partner with the CRO and regional commercial leaders to ensure marketing supports priority sectors, strategic accounts, platform opportunities, and regional growth goals.

Communications, Events & Leadership Visibility
  • Lead Influencer's global communications strategy across earned media, awards, press, speaking opportunities, and executive visibility.
  • Build visibility for the CEO, CVO, CRO, regional leaders, and senior subject-matter experts, ensuring leadership profiles reinforce the company's commercial and category narrative.
  • Own the global events strategy across owned events, sponsorships, paid speaking, conferences, dinners, roundtables, and partner activations, with clear ROI discipline and commercial follow-up.

Owned Channels, Content & Partner Marketing
  • Own Influencer's global social and content strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels, ensuring our presence feels creator-first, data-driven, culturally fluent, and commercially relevant.
  • Build an always-on content engine that turns client work, research, events, awards, platform partnerships, and leadership thinking into consistent market-facing output.
  • Develop co-marketing initiatives with global platform partners including TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat and others, ensuring our strongest relationships are visible and commercially valuable.

Marketing Operations, Measurement & Team Leadership
  • Build the processes, cadences, briefs, calendars, dashboards, and decision-making forums required for a globally consistent marketing function.
  • Establish clear reporting across awareness, engagement, lead generation, marketing-influenced pipeline, event ROI, partner activity, PR impact, and sales enablement usage.
  • Design the internal, external, agency, and freelance resource model required to deliver high-quality global marketing at pace.

Cross-Pillar Collaboration
  • CEO & Executive Partnership: Partner directly with the CEO to turn company strategy into clear external narrative, executive visibility, and market momentum.
  • Revenue Pillar: Partner with the CRO to increase pipeline generation, improve conversion, strengthen strategic account plans, and ensure sales teams are equipped with sharper client-facing materials.
  • Operations Pillar: Partner with the COO to ensure platform capabilities, operational innovation, and AI-enabled services are translated into compelling market narratives.
  • Finance & People Pillar: Partner with CFO to measure marketing effectiveness and with People to ensure the external employer brand reflects Influencer's culture, ambition, and leadership standards.

What you will need:
  • Senior Marketing Leadership: Proven leadership experience as a SVP, VP, CMO, or senior marketing executive in high-growth digital media, creator marketing, agency, ad-tech, platform, or technology-led environments.
  • International Scale: Verifiable track record of building marketing functions, operating rhythms, and brand consistency across multiple geographies.
