Who are we?
Influencer is a global creator marketing agency on a mission to shape the future of marketing by humanizing brands. By placing creators at the center, the agency delivers creator-first solutions across creative, media, and commerce that connect brands with audiences through insight-driven creator campaigns built to stop the scroll and drive measurable impact.

Job title
VP, Marketing - Global
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Global Chief Marketing Officer
Overview of the job
Reporting directly to the Global CMO, you will lead a multi-disciplinary marketing team and own five core pillars that together shape how Influencer is perceived externally, by clients, platforms, creators, media, and the broader industry. You will be a builder and a strategist: someone who can set direction, shape narrative, and get things done.
This role sits at the intersection of brand, commercial, and technology, and you'll be expected to bring those three together seamlessly, ensuring our marketing output is as impressive as the work we do for our clients.
3 best things about the job
  • Be part of the fastest-growing global influencer marketing agencies.
  • Joining the business at a time of growth and expansion as we formalize a global marketing structure.
  • A rare chance to build and lead our global marketing function from the ground up, shaping the brand and voice of a category-defining company at a pivotal moment in the creator economy.

Measures of success - in the first few months, you will have:
  • In your first 90 days, you will have audited our current marketing output, established strong relationships across the business, and presented a clear 12-month marketing strategy to the Global CMO and leadership team.
  • By the end of year one, Influencer will have a more consistent, elevated brand presence globally; a sales team better armed than ever to win; and a clear narrative, backed by proof, of what makes Influencer the leader in creator marketing.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Product Marketing
Own the go-to-market strategy and positioning for our tech stack. You will be the voice that translates our technology's capabilities into compelling narratives for clients, platforms, and the press, reinforcing Influencer's position as the technology leader in creator marketing.
  • Define messaging frameworks and product narratives that bring Waves to life for commercial audiences
  • Partner closely with the Product and Technology teams to stay ahead of roadmap developments
  • Develop collateral and content that connects our tech stack to client outcomes

Communications (PR, Earned Media & Leadership Visibility)
Lead Influencer's external communications strategy via earned media, press, award submissions, and executive visibility. You'll position Influencer and its leadership as the authoritative voices in creator marketing.
  • Manage agency and in-house PR resources to drive consistent earned media coverage
  • Own the award submissions strategy, from identification through to submission and activation
  • Oversee earned speaking opportunities, securing presence at the industry's most relevant stages
  • Maintain and evolve leadership bios and executive profiles across platforms

Sales Enablement
Equip our commercial teams with the content, tools, and platforms they need to win. You'll own everything that bridges marketing output to revenue from events to thought leadership to client-facing case studies.
  • Own our owned events program and partnerships with key industry events
  • Manage sponsorships and paid speaking engagements strategically, ensuring ROI and brand alignment
  • Manage monthly newsletter and proposal lead gen strategy
  • Lead the development of thought leadership content that establishes our POV in the market
  • Oversee production of case studies and all other client-facing output
  • Ensure the commercial team has sharp, up-to-date enablement materials at every stage of the sales cycle
  • Develop and implement MQL/SQL capabilities and tracking to showcase new lead generation via marketing outputs

Social Media
Set the strategy and tone for Influencer's owned social channels ensuring our presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and beyond reflects who we are: creator-first, data-driven, and always-on culture. You'll hold the bar high for quality and consistency.
  • Build and oversee a social content strategy that builds brand equity and drives engagement
  • Ensure our social output actively supports commercial objectives and partner relationships
  • Own the cadence, voice, and evolution of our channels as we scale globally

Partner Marketing
Influencer is a trusted global partner to the world's largest platforms including TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and Snapchat. You'll lead our partner marketing function to deepen these relationships and co-create meaningful moments that benefit both sides.
  • Develop and execute co-marketing initiatives with platform partners
  • Ensure Influencer's partner relationships are actively reflected in our external marketing
  • Identify new partnership opportunities that extend our reach and reinforce our positioning

Brand
As a first mover in creator marketing, Influencer's brand is one of its most valuable assets. You'll be the ultimate custodian of that brand ensuring it is applied consistently, evolves thoughtfully, and shows up powerfully across every touchpoint.
  • Own and evolve the global brand guidelines and ensure adoption across all regions and teams
  • Oversee brand governance, maintaining quality and consistency across all external output
  • Lead the development and ongoing refinement of our credentials deck and core pitch materials
  • Act as the brand authority for all major campaigns, partnerships, and launches

What you will need:
  • A senior marketing leader with 8-10+ years of experience, ideally with a mix of agency and brand or platform-side exposure
  • Deeply fluent in the creator economy. You understand how this industry works, who the players are, and where it's going
  • A builder: energized by the opportunity to create structure, process, and team culture from scratch
  • You are a sharp strategist who can operate at altitude but roll up their sleeves when needed
  • Commercially minded. You connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue outcomes instinctively
  • A strong communicator and storyteller, comfortable presenting to C-suite, clients, and external audiences
  • Experienced managing multi-disciplinary teams across Communications, Content, Brand, and Events
  • Collaborative and energetic. You bring people with you, and you raise the bar for the teams around you

Why Influencer?
  • You'll join at the most exciting moment in our history, our most successful year to date, with a clear path to our $1B creator payments goal
  • Work closely with the first-ever Global CMO in a newly formed, high-impact marketing function
  • Global partners of TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat and more with access and relationships few agencies can match
  • A creator-founded company that understands culture from the inside, not just as a marketing exercise
  • 200+ people across 9 global hubs, with the intimacy of a team where your work genuinely matters
  • Competitive compensation, hybrid working from our New York office, and a benefits package tailored to your market

A few of our core benefits:
  • Medical Benefits through Insperity
  • Wellbeing support including EAP & Mental Health cover
  • 401K with match opportunity
  • 22 days of Paid Time Off (+ Federal Holidays which can be flexed to your needs)
