Product Engineer

Fuquay Varina, NC – Full Time

 

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Fuquay Varina, NC. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will perform basic product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project. Operate in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. Develop recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.


Duties:

  • Gather data from test labs, product engineering teams, and others in support of safety and compliance activities.
  • Prepare compliance documentation for commercial mowing, golf, and other products.
  • Create and maintain test activity template records.
  • Work with third-party companies to gather information on market entry requirements.


Requirements:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to tailor communications to audience.
  • Skills in managing multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Able to coordinate efforts and develop consensus recommendations.
  • Able to review, understand, and explain requirements from standards and/or regulations
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or equivalent experience.


Preferred:

  • Knowledge and familiarity of engineering concepts related to mobile off-road machinery.
  • Familiarity with regulations and standards, including but not limited to: EN, IEC, ISO, SAE, UL.
