Job Summary

Provide leadership and strategic guidance to our product data management team with responsibility for availability, usability, and integrity of our product data as a trusted enterprise asset.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop team of direct reports
  • Responsible for effective product change management and the accuracy and integrity of managed data
  • Establish and monitor department performance metrics
  • Coordinate project priority for product data management team
  • Effective management of team resource usage to identify and resolve conflicting project deliverables
  • Ensure the right processes and tools are in place to meet business needs while complying with established standards
  • Initiate, manage, and coordinate updates to product data management processes
  • Lead department continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate the cleanup and restructuring of data in support of process optimization
  • Train personnel on new or updated business systems and processes
  • Thought leadership and strategic oversight surrounding new item creation, item merge/purge processes, and acquisition integration activities
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
  • Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years progressively responsible experience in Data Analysis, Data Management, Data Governance and/or Data Stewardship
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years' experience managing a diverse team
  • Expert Level Proficiency in MS Office, Alteryx experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of product data lifecycle management
  • Proven project management skills
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Creative, strategic thinker
  • Exceptional communication skills and relationship-building abilities
  • Demonstrate effectiveness in achieving results through understanding and management of internal customer relationships, prioritization, and delegation of tasks
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Waterworks industry knowledge/experience a plus
  • Understanding of Product Lifecycle
