Job description

Summary
The Procurement Programs & Systems Data Analyst draws on their knowledge of data and data systems to align and support all current and future business objectives of the Procurement Organization. This position works directly in support of the Data Manager, Procurement Programs & Systems. They continually strive for fully paperless Procurement processes, to include Purchasing, Repair, and Invoicing. Additionally, they own reporting, new reporting development, and reporting improvements, perform analysis, develop tools as required, issue triage and provides insights to internal stakeholder groups to identify issues and potential opportunities for improvement. They help maintain reference manuals and resources, perform root cause analysis, and support data requirements for systems and process improvements.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Education Details: Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Data Science, IS, or other relevant field.
Years of Experience: Minimum two (2) years in programming, database management or other relevant experience is desired, as well as strong financial experience/education.

   Background in materials procurement, analytics, and process management.
   Experienced in systems support and change management.
   Experienced in database creation and maintenance.
   Strong intellect and aptitude, along with ability to manage multiple and varied activities.
   Ability to self-start technical dialogue and convey requisite information to various parties.
   Ability to analyze data sets and clean up data.
   Ability to diagnose data gaps and create effective mitigation practices and strategies.
   Effective communication skills.
   Ability to prioritize and effectively problem solve.
   Some travel may be required.
   SQL and Visual Basic coding capability.
   Firm understanding of Microsoft Office and Microsoft SQL Server.

Preferred Requirements
   Familiarity with Accounting, Statistics, and Supply Chain principles.
   Previous Trax (eMRO), SAP Ariba, or SAP software experience.
   Lean or Six Sigma or equivalent certification or training.
   HTML coding capability.

Job Duties
   Self-start technical conversations with internal stakeholders and Procurement Programs & Systems team members to document data requirements.
   Become conversant on all Procurement Organization processes and dependencies, as needed.
   Use the context and knowledge of applicable Procurement systems and programs, analyze available data resources to ensure alignment with any new or revised processes.
   Analyze available Procurement systems and programs to gain data efficiencies for the P2P process.
   Help build forms, templates, tables, data sources, and catalogs to increase ROI for P2P and other sourcing activities.
   Perform analytics to identify and drive supply chain efficiencies, category management strategies, and support the company's strategic initiatives.
   Effectively conduct root cause analysis when remediating bugs or issues within systems or programs.
   Document timely triage of issues for operational users.
   Conduct accurate and complete change management for all database and reporting changes and fixes.
   Apply LEAN and Six Sigma principles for supply chain to new processes and process changes.
   Evaluate and clean up various data sources for import into systems.
   Actively monitor existing data resources and reporting to help identify potential issues or opportunities.
   Monitor vendor reporting to ensure proper alignment with Procurement Organization operational goals.
   Report to the Data Manager, Procurement Programs & Systems project status including progress, obstacles, and delays.
   Serve as a point of contact for various supply chain tools and serve as resource to develop or modify tools as required.
   Participate as directed in maintaining integration, vendor and change management with the Aeroxchange platform.
   Execute assigned tasks from Senior Procurement Programs & Systems and Procurement Organization management.
   Coordinate with Business Intelligence and various external vendors to ensure data requirements and reporting are aligned appropriately.
   Assist the TPSS team, Procurement Programs & Systems, and Procurement Organization Leadership to propose, prioritize, test, and track any programming changes to AIS and other software being used by the Procurement Organization.
   Assist the TPSS team and other Procurement Programs & Systems team members to establish a roadmap for maximum utilization of the new systems to drive productivity and efficiency throughout the Intake-to-Invoice process.
   Provide support to the Data Manager, Procurement Programs & Systems in working with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Department on departmental budget and project approvals. Review and measure the department's financial and operating performance, as well as perform other financial analysis, as assigned by the Manager and Director.
   Adhere to Data Systems team KPIs and performance standards.
   Apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities, as appropriate.
   Model Allegiant's customer service standards in personal actions and when providing direction.
   Other duties as assigned.

May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
